Foremost, I would like to commend DTO for its stand against the introduction of greyhound racing
in the Philippines. Most people in the world are one with you. History has proven that greyhound
racing is nothing more than a heartless gambling enterprise paid for by the blood of unfortunate
greyhounds who suffer broken necks, cardiac arrest, spinal paralysis, broken legs, and drug
abuse.  
 
The United States, United Kingdom, and Australia have already realized their mistake and race
tracks in those countries are folding. There are countries that will not allow it at all, and this is
where we should be.
 
 I have written a petition against greyhound racing and I would like to ask for your support.
This is for the country, and for the animals, not for me personally. Everything is explained on  
the petition. Congress will most likely debate the two bills by the end of July, 2009. So, time is  
of the essence. Please read, sign, and CIRCULATE the petition among your circle of friends.

there is no greyhound racing in the philippines to this day. there is a group of business people who want to make a buck
but why make a living out of extreme cruelty and gambling. they have evidently decided that they can get away with
it in the philippines but not in other places.
